Scope
Advanced ceramics have been applied to the structural components, energy storage, biomaterials, electrical devices, environmental materials and so on. Such engineering application of the advanced ceramics requires higher reliability. In order to make better advanced ceramics, many kinds of innovative researches based on the novel concept are needed. In this symposium, we will discuss the innovation for highly reliable advanced ceramics. The topics cover a wide range including monolithic and composite ceramics, powder processing, material and microstructure design and new evaluation technique.
