Scope
Liquid crystals are states of matter between conventional liquids and solid crystals. Therefore they show unique combined properties of anisotropy and flow, now they are widely used in various optoelectronic display and optical information processing systems. The subject of liquid crystal materials has now grown to become an exciting interdisciplinary field of research with important practical applications. Symposium “Advanced Liquid Crystals” provides a forum for presentations of research results on all aspects of liquid crystal materials, related soft matter and applications for materials synthesis.
