Scope

The use of biological resources such as microorganisms, plants, animals, etc., is attracting much attention from the viewpoint of environmental concerns. Applying biotechnology to environmental management is particularly demanded, because it can solve waste disposal issues by turning the waste into a useful, renewable resource for energy and new materials. Effective use and recycling of biological resources, development and evaluation techniques on new materials, advanced techniques on the functional use of biotechnology in nano-levels, etc., are reported and discussed.

Topics

  1. Biomass
  2. Ecomaterial
  3. Renewable Resources
  4. Recycling of Biomass
