Scope
In order to build an enjoyable, comfortable, and environmentally friendly society, the importance of research on the next-generation automobiles is the global attention. Versatile advanced materials must be required for the realization of the future mobility. It is difficult to reach the targets through conventional research on each elemental technology and application development. To advance beyond this current state, it is essential to maintain integration from the basic research phase, to reduce the time taken for application research and development, and to ensure that work proceeds in a dynamic and flexible manner. This symposium will address various ranges of automobile-related technologies and provide an opportunity for scientists and engineers to exchange information and ideas on the increasing potentials and industrial applications of the future mobility related core-materials, devices, and technologies in the area of energy creation, energy conversion, thermal management, light weighting material, and recycling resource. Interdisciplinary studies and discussion on the future directions of the fields are strongly encouraged. This symposium will hopefully bring the development of forward-thinking researcher resources and formation of research cluster to further development of mobility technologies.
